So, I've had an Xbox 360 in my possession since late-Spring '06 and the only game that I currently own for it is Oblivion. Not that I haven't gotten my money's worth out of it (1000+ game saves and over 300 hours of play, and still going), but it's not multi-player and I miss hopping on line with the old Gamertag.com crew. I hear Gears of War is a good time, but I don't want to run out and buy a game that everyone else will grow tired of and stop playing in 3-weeks (which is what usually happens). So, if any of you have suggestions for an upcoming game that might have some longevity, I'm all ears!

You know that most of the old Gamertag.com crew is on World of Warcraft now, right? I think that would be the best game to try out 
I think the problem with MMO's are that they just don't have longitivity - gamers lose interest too quickly (I know I saw that all that time when I had XBOX Live).

Hey man, I've been playing Gears of War since day one -- it's lots of fun! I really suck at it, but still really enjoy the unique gameplay. I don't do that much gaming these days either, but I imagine GOW will last quite a while. It'll last at least until Forza 2 comes out in May, and then I don't think I'll be playing anything else. I'd love to see you online on anything. F WoW!
