Hi there. could you tell me the main reason, why yo're moving in to B2V from WP? I had enough time for playing around my WP site at http://kesetrum.com ( a year) and my family blog at http://priyagung.com (few months)

I need to stick one blog only.

Sorry about may English and question. I am not a coder. But like to be a modifier :-) I've been read all your post about coding at B2V forum and this blog. Interesting.

Well,... Can I receive announcement from my email, if this comment had reply? Maybe from you or other? :-)

Thank You..
regards,...

My main reason for switching to b2evolution was that I wanted to be able to easily post to my wife's and kids' blogs as well as my own, but still have the posts listed separately. I could have just signed everyone up with a blogger.com account and shared blogs that way, but I love to tinker and so I wanted to host it myself. I had been playing around with b2evolution for a bit at work, so I was familiar with its capabilities and quirks.

In my opinion, WordPress has the better administration area to date and their implementation of the Akismet anti-spam plug-in is better than b2evolution's. On the other hand, b2evolution is very flexible and has a great plug-in architecture.

If you like to tinker, or need multi-blog support, go with b2evolution (their support community on the forums is great, too). If you just need to get a single blog up and running with little hassle, go with WordPress or blogger.com.

Actually, it's not so much that WordPress' administration area is better, so much as fancier. Their use of AJAX form events can make life a little easier. It's simple to move around in, too, and looks very clean by default.

The b2evolution administration area is certainly not for lack of features, but it is a bit rough around the edges as of 1.8.2. I'm sure future releases will improve on this.
