Windows Live Local 1-ups Google Maps

I just came across Microsoft’s latest effort to get the leg up on Google. Microsoft Live Local functions much like Google Maps, except it adds the ability to click on the map to get directions (as opposed to having to know the address first), drop your own push-pins with comments on a location, send these comments and maps to your friends and get 360-degree close up arial shots of most US cities. This could be very cool for planning a vacation or blogging about a trip afterwards. Check it out - here’s a link to some notes about the area around my work.
