Please keep us in your prayers
January 28th, 2007I am not a very religious person, but at this point I would do anything to help my mom. We received news this week that my mom (age 46) has adenocarcinoma of the esophagus. We are still unsure how big the tumor is and if it has metastasized. She will be visiting a thoracic surgeon and oncology specialist at Dana Farber in Boston on Thursday. Anyways, of course this is something we are all very concerned about and I would do anything to make it all better for everyone. So please keep us in your prayers as we hope for the best. More updates to follow.....
One more for today
January 20th, 2007Poor little Raya! She was sick and throwing up last night. She had the pukes starting at around 2AM, but she was so tired that when I took her in the shower to rinse off she started to fall back asleep. She slept until 9:45 this morning and then went back down for a nap around 11:15 and has been sleeping since. I hope she feels better soon.
When she isn't sick, she loves to play, smile, watch Maelin and sit up. I know she will be so excited when she can finally crawl as she really does not like be confined to one place. Here is a picture of her wonderful smile.

We had a great time
January 20th, 2007This past Monday (thank you go Martin Luther King Jr.) I got the day off. I decided to spend it with my beautiful niece (now 9). It was a wonderful day (she even got to sleep over my house). Anyways, we visited grandma and grandpa's first. Here is a picture of Grandma Treasie with her grand-daughters. How lucky we all are to have such wonderful children in our lives.

Half way done
January 20th, 2007I have just finished the halfway mark for my rotations. Only 15 weeks left to go. It feels like forever still and like it is so close. Wierd! It is still crazy to me that with this piece of paper I will be making some serious money. I guess it will just be weird to have a job after 5 years. A job. Who would have thought. I am just starting to get my resume together now and apply for jobs. Guess what?! It's all about the money. I don't care where I work, just show me the money. I never thought I'd feel like this, but boy do I want to start saving for our boat and pay off my stupid loans and credit card debt.
Here is a pic of my last preceptor and my colleague My Linh when we met for lunch during our break.

Tubby time in the sink
January 20th, 2007I can hardly believe Maelin will be 3 years old in just a few weeks. Just the other day I gave Raya (nearly 16 weeks) a tubby in the sink and I remembered I had done that with Maelin when she was 11 weeks. Here are my sink bathers. Gosh they sure are cute!
